You can use this screen to view and edit any existing daily menu.
A Cycle Menu must be applied to a school calendar before you can view it here.
Select a site (or ALL) and a range of dates and click the refresh button to display the School Daily Menus.
Select All, Breakfast, Lunch, Supper or After-school Snack from Show section to filter the results in the grid.
The upper grid will show the Cycle Menus that have been applied during the selected date range.
Highlight any row in the top grid to view the menu items.
You can add or remove recipes or Meals (if the day is using a Final Rule nutritional standard) by clicking the Plus and Minus buttons; and change offered servings, feeding figures and portion sizes on this screen.
All the features of the Cycle Menu are also available for editing the school daily menu.
If you need to delete a day, highlight it in the top grid and click Delete.
Click Add to add a single day, you can use the Cycle Menu screen to create a one-day cycle and apply it as a cycle menu.
You are able to change the estimated offered serving size (from Cycle Menu-Final Rule) for the recipes in the Offered Servings column.
Click the plus sign to the left of the Public Calendar checkbox. This displays the recipes within the reimbursable meal.
Highlight the offered serving of the recipe (as entered in Cycle Menu-Final Rule) you would like to change and enter the new number in the Offered Servings field.
Click
Save.
Highlight a row and use the arrows to move the item up or down.
Several options are available at the bottom of Cycle Menu Setup to help you create menus quickly and easily.
Click the button to search for meals or recipes based on specific nutrient criteria or description text.
Click to print a Prep Report for the highlighted recipes directly from the Cycle Menu screen, using the Projected Servings and Serving Sizes from the menu.
The button will give you a read-only view of the Reimbursable Meal information but you can click the button to manage recipes from this screen.
The button will display when your menu is based on FBMP Nutritional Standards. See Cycle Menu: Food-Based Analysis for more information.
