Community Cookbook-Lower Grid

The lower grid displays possible matches for the Cookbook ingredient.  The matches are again listed with a , , and dot, with green being the closest match.

If you do not see the proper ingredient match, click  to search your local database for the correct ingredient.

If you download several recipes from the same district and a prior match from the same Cookbook ingredient to an ingredient in a recipe submitted by the same district will automatically be considered the ‘best match’, even if they may not be the highest match.

• Additional criteria used for best match:

  • If you have already matched a local ingredient to an ingredient from the district that submitted the recipe, it will automatically mark it in green and put it at the top of the list.
  • If there is a match on USDA or State Alliance ingredient codes, it will be given a higher priority.
  • Linked INV items are also given a higher priority.
